I am pastor Mukhtar from Kauda. Today, I want to share with you important updates about Socc primary school. This school opened in 2007 and it has lasted us this far. Although we had issues from the beginning, as we’ve grown these issues are now crippling our school. The students, and teachers suffer from many fronts. There is no stationery, no educational books. My name is Abraham Kodi, and I am the headmaster of this school.
Our school was started by the church. When we started, we had only 15 students in 2007, now we have grown to over 957 students attending 8 different classes. We need support to complete some of the buildings to take in extra students, if anyone can support that would be incredible.
We are reaching out especially to the Nuba people in the Diaspora to help because we are in very dire straits. Our country is at war, and its challenging to prepare our children for the future of tomorrow. Through this education, this is one place that provide a space of safety.
